Job Title: Shared Services Associate

Position Summary: The Shared Service Associate is responsible for supporting Shared Service and Payroll team members and HR systems for Shared Service clients. You will support initiatives related to reporting and compliance, along with processes and programs that directly impact the employee experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain HRIS records and create reports as necessary for all Shared Service school districts.
  2. Input, track, and maintain confidential, sensitive employee data and files.
  3. Support initiatives related to reporting, compliance, auditing, and data.
  4. Respond to district employee questions and system issues and escalate as necessary to appropriate subject matter experts when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is required.
  5. Help create, maintain, and deploy Shared Service process documentation, training materials, and employee-facing resources.
  6. Administratively support Shared Service processes, including but not limited to: onboarding, terminations, personnel action notices, and leaves of absence.
  7. Work with AIU Shared Services team to identify and address opportunities to automate and tech-enable manual and paper-based processes.
  8. Assist with monthly PSERS and AMCA reporting.
  9. Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll, employee, and records.
  10. Assist with any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of one year of experience working in a professional environment
  2. Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word)
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  6. An obsession for ensuring excellent client satisfaction and service
  7. A willingness to pivot projects and tasks based on the needs of the organization
  8. A strong desire to work collaboratively across the entire organization
  9. Ability to work autonomously but know when to tap in your teammates for help and lift when needed

 

Additional Requirements:

1.      Current Act 114, Act 3, Act 151 and NSOR clearances are required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).

2.      School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
